Richard von Ernst Los Angeles and Pasadena Realtor

Richard von Ernst

Richard´s love affair with Real Estate began at a very young age. The highlight of his early summers was the annual family trip to visit his great grandmother's six sisters who had married men all along the eastern seaboard, stretching from Maine to Georgia. The diversity of their homes caused him to marvel. Experiencing these houses was the best part of the trip! As a young adult, he began buying and selling Real Estate. The challenge of finding a new home or investment property offered a welcome diversion from his first career in the entertainment industry. After earning his B.A. in Art & Architectural History and M.F.A. in Theatrical Design he spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry designing for stage, television and film.

Succumbing, at last, to his first love of houses, he decided to change the meaning of "LOCATION" in his life. Rather than calling it home while shooting a film he decided to stress the importance of it to his clients when they purchased property. That is precisely why his focus is the Pasadena Metropolitan area. Pasadena and the surrounding communities offer an unparalleled number of significant properties within reasonable proximity of all that Los Angeles has to offer.

He consistently remains among the top agents in his office and credits this accomplishment to his well honed people skills. Richard believes the ability to communicate is paramount in business and that in Real Estate, as in any industry, one must express ideas clearly while carefully listening to the needs of others ... hearing is not enough, one must really listen. His ability to do that has contributed to his success. Richard's commitment to clients goes beyond the search for or marketing of their homes. Offering referrals for the restoration or remodeling, helping with research in making artistic decisions and making people familiar with the resources their community has to offer are only a few of the ongoing services that make a difference to a client.

His belief in giving back to the community has led him to become involved with All Saints Episcopal Church, the Pasadena Playhouse and the Pasadena Symphony. His dedication to historic preservation has led him to become a member of Pasadena Heritage, Altadena Heritage, and the Los Angeles Conservancy.

Jennifer Parker-Stanton Los Angeles and Pasadena Realtor

Jennifer Parker-Stanton

Jennifer grew up in Princeton, New Jersey where her interest in Real Estate began by watching those most important to her gain wealth and security through investment in property. While still in school, she saw the importance of diversifying one´s assets and building equity in Real Estate. She is a big advocate for young people, especially single women, to face their fears and take the first big leap into owning property.

After obtaining her B.A. in History and Italian at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst she headed west to San Francisco where she fell in love with the fascinating eclectic mix of buildings juxtaposed against the sky and water. There she built thriving vintage clothing business which segued into styling photography shoots, film and television commercials. It was on film that she first collaborated with Richard von Ernst as his Assistant Designer. Their immediate connection and the closeness they developed through their creative collaborations made it inevitable that once Richard moved into Real Estate he would woo his ideal business partner to follow.

While living in San Francisco, Jennifer and her husband, Sandy, restored a 1906 Edwardian building and fell in love with the architecture of the "City by the Bay". After moving to the Los Angeles area, she discovered the clean, linear lines of Mid-Century architecture and became infatuated. Her passion for architecture has fueled her new career. Jennifer's work ethic has always been filled with vitality and she brings a great deal of energy to the process of finding or selling a home. She makes her client's experience as comfortable as possible and always manages to bring pleasure to what is often considered a stressful process by many people. "No" is not in her vocabulary and she will doggedly pursue every avenue to find or sell your home.

Jennifer's community service includes volunteer work with children who are in the foster care system and is active with CASA, LA's Best Friend's, and the Optimist Youth Home for Children.
